In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Bihar government had issued a transfer order of 17 IPS officers. The list includes nine Superintendent of Police (SP) from Saran, Bhojpur, Jehanabad, Jamui, Aurangabad, Vaishali, Araria, Khagaria, and Bagaha districts.
RS Bhatti, Additional Director General of Bihar Military Police (BMP) has been promoted as the DG of BMP. R.M. Vizhi, a 1995 batch IPS officer who was waiting for her posting after coming from central deputation, has been posted as ADG (Training).
M.R. Nayak who was also waiting for the posting has been given the charge of IG (Railways). Among the SPs, SP Khagaria Meenu Kumari has been made the new SP of Jehanabad replacing Maneesh. Maneesh has been made the new SP of Vaishali.
Whereas, Gaurav Mangla who was currently the SP of Vaishali, has been appointed as the SP of state crime record bureau. Dhurat Saayli, SP Araria has been appointed as SP Saran replacing Harkishor Rai. Rai has been posted as the SP of Bhojpur.
Sushil Kumar was currently working as the SP of Bhojpur has been made in charge of BMP-3 commandant Bodhgaya. SP Aurangabad, Deepak Barnwal has been appointed as the SP Special branch and been replaced by STF SP Sudhir Kumar Podika.
SP Jamui, I H Mengnu has been appointed as the Assistant Director of Bihar Police Academy, Rajgir. Mengnu has been replaced by BMP-3 Commandant Pramod Kumar Mandal.
SP Bagaha Rajiv Ranjan II has been transferred as the SP Special Task Force (STF), whereas Hridayakant has been appointed as the new SP of Araria.
Amitesh Kumar who was currently holding the charge of ASP (East) Muzaffarpur has been appointed as SP Khagaria. Lastly, Kiran Kumar Gorakh has been appointed as the new SP of Bagaha.
