In a recent transfer order issued by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, five IPS officers of the 2008-batch have been promoted to the Selection Grade. The officers who have been promoted are listed below:
- Dr. Shemushi has been appointed as SP Rajamahendravaram
- Gopinath Jatti has been made Chief Vigilance and Security Officer, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam
- S Senthil Kumar has been made the SP of Chittoor
- Dr. Gajarao Bhupal, Inter cadre deputation to Telangana (Proforma promotion)
- Grewal Navdeep Singh, Central Deputation (Proforma promotion)
