Himachal Pradesh Government Promoted 13 IPS Officers in the State

SP Kullu, Gurdev Chand Sharma and Commandant 1st IRB, Bangarh District, Una, Vimukt Ranjan and NHRC SSP, New Delhi, Anupam Sharma have been promoted to the post of DIG.

The Himachal Pradesh state government has promoted two IPS officers of 2005 batch as Inspector General (IG) of Police and three officers of 2009 batch as DIG.

A notification to this effect has been issued on Wednesday. Under this, DIG North Range Dharamshala, Sumedha and DIG (Intelligence and Security) Dharamshala, Santosh Kumar were promoted as DIGs. Along with this, SP Kullu, Gurdev Chand Sharma and Commandant 1st IRB, Bangarh District, Una, Vimukt Ranjan and NHRC SSP, New Delhi, Anupam Sharma have been promoted to the post of DIG. The posting orders of these officers who got the gift of promotion will be issued separately.

Along with this, the government has given Senior Time Scale Level-11 to 3 IPS officers of 2019 batch. This includes, ASP Kangra, Mayank Chaudhary, AC to DC Governor Abhishek S. And ASP Mandi Amit Yadav.

Apart from this, the government has given Junior Administrative Grade Level-12 to 5 IPS officers. Along with this, other 4 IPS officers of 2014 batch SP Shimla Monika, AIG Police Headquarters Dr. Karthikeyan Gokulchandran and Sakshi Verma and SP Solan Virendra Sharma, who are on maternity leave, will get the benefit from January 1, 2023.

Similarly, the government has given the benefit of selection grade level-13 to 5 IPS officers of 2010 batch. These include SP Police District Baddi Mohit Chawla, Commandant II Corps Sakoh Saumya, SP Vigilance Mandi Rahul Nath, Commandant Sixth IRB Shubhra Tiwari and SP Jail Shimla Ranjana Chauhan.
