In a major reshuffle the government of Andhra Pradesh has transferred 15 IPS officer including 1 IG, 5 DIG, 5 SP and 4 additional SP rank officers.
IPS officer LKV Ranga Rao has been posted as IGP, welfare and sports in the existing vacancy. S V Rajasekhar Babu is transferred and posted as DIG, OCTOPUS.
PHD Ramakrishna is posted as DIG, Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) in the existing vacancy. KV Mohan Rao attached to the office of DGP has been posted as DIG, training. S Hari Krishna was given full additional charge of DIG, coastal security. Gopinath Jatti was posted as DIG, greyhounds and also in the full additional charge of the post of IGP, legal until further orders.
Dr Koya Praveen has been transferred and posted as commandant 16th battalion, APSP, Visakhapatnam. Vishal Gunni presently the 6th battalion commandant is placed in full additional charge of superintendent of railway police, Vijayawada.
M Ravindranath Babu, SP. Kakinada was given full additional charge of 3rd battalion, APSP, Kakinada. Ajitha Vejendla was given full additional charge of superintendent of railway police, Guntakal. PV Ravi Kumar has been shifted from ACB tovigilance as SP.
IPS G Krishnakanth has been transferred as additional SP operations, Rampachodavaram, P Jagadeesh, additional SP, Paderu has been posted as additional SP Chittoor. Tuhin Sinha, additional SP. SEB, Kurnool has been posted as additional SP, admin, Narasaraopet Palnadu district.
