Nine IPS Shifted in UP

Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) rank officers of four ranges, Azamgarh, Mirzapur, Gorakhpur and Saharanpur, have been transferred in Uttar Pradesh.

In a transfer order issued on Tuesday, the Uttar Pradesh government transferred nine Indian Police Service (IPS) officers including Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) rank officers of four ranges.
DIG Mirzapur range, J Ravindra Goud, was shifted to Gorakhpur range in the same capacity, while DIG Gorakhpur Preetinder Singh was shifted to Saharanpur range.
DIG, SIT, RK Bharadwaj was made the new DIG of Mirzapur range replacing Ravindra Goud. Likewise, DIG, Saharanpur, Upendra Agarwal, was shifted as DIG UP police headquarters.
In a similar manner, DIG, Azamgarh range, Subhash Chandra Dubey was made Additional Police Commissioner in Varanasi Police Commissionerate, while Additional Police Commissioner Akhilesh Kumar was made new DIG, Azamgarh range.
Apart from this, DIG UP Police headquarters, Anand Prakash Tiwari, was made additional police commissioner in Kanpur police Commissionerate.
DIG PTS Chandra Prakash was posted in the Uttar Pradesh Special Security Force (UPSSF). DIG Traffic Directorate, Dharmendra Singh, was made the DIG, Railways in Lucknow.
