In a minor bureaucratic reshuffle, six IAS officers have been transferred to the post of Superintendent of Police (SP) and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) across Jammu and Kashmir. The list includes these officer:
- 2017-batch IPS officer Tanushree has been appointed as SP- East Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir Police replacing IPS Sheema Nabi Qasba.
- 2016 batch IPS officer Potluri Durga Nitya has been transferred and posted as SP- Ramban, Jammu & Kashmir Police. She was currently holding the charge of SP- North Jammu.
- Sheema Nabi Qasba who was holding the charge of SP- East Srinagar, has now been appointed as SP- Rajouri, Jammu & Kashmir Police.
- 2011 batch IPS officer Vinod Kumar who was awaiting the order for posting, has been appointed as SSP Poonch, Jammu & Kashmir Police.
- Sandeep Choudhary, a batchmate of Kumar, has been posted as SSP- Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir Police. He was holding the charge of SP- Anantnag.
- 2010 batch IPS officer Rayees Mohammad Bhat presently AIG- P&T, PHQ, has been transferred and posted as SSP- Baramulla, Jammu & Kashmir Police.
