The Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday, 21 March, notified the appointments of two IPS officers to SP level posts in the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for a period of five years. They have been appointed to the post from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The names of the officers are as follows;
- Ved Prakash Surya (IPS:2009:AGMUT)
- Rakesh Roushan (IPS:2010:AM)
