A day after the transfer of six IAS officers, the Yogi Adityanath government on Thursday ordered a reshuffle in the Uttar Pradesh Police Department. Three IPS and 16 PPS officers have been transferred, including new postings for IPS couple Anirudh Singh and Arti Singh.
The 2018 batch IPS officer, Anirudh Singh, posted as Additional Superintendent of Police Rural in Meerut, has been transferred and posted as Addl SP, CBCID, Lucknow. While PPS officer Kamlesh Bahadur, who was posted in Bulandshahr, has been given responsibility of additional SP Rural in Meerut.
IPS Arti Singh, a 2017 batch IPS officer and posted as Additional Commissioner of Police Commissionerate Varanasi, has been appointed as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Kanpur Nagar Commissionerate.
2018 batch IPS officer Ankita Sharma, who was posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Kanpur Nagar Commissionerate, has been made Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Varanasi.
Along with three IPS officer, the government has also issued transfer order of 16 Provincial Police Service (PPS) officers on 6 April. The list includes various Assistant Superintendent of Police rank officers.
