In an another administrative reshuffle in police department, Yogi Adityanath led Uttar Pradesh government has transferred and posted 8 IPS officers. The 1998 batch IPS officer Piyush Mordia, who has been working as Additional Director General of Law and Order in Lucknow Commissionerate for a long time, has been appointed as Additional Director General of Police, Lucknow Zone.

While IPS officer Upendra Kumar Agrawal has been made JCP in Lucknow Commissionerate. He was DIG of Devipatan range. DIG Amarendra Kumar of Ayodhya range has been sent to Devipatan.

IG range Meerut Praveen Kumar has been given the responsibility of Ayodhya range. IG Nachiketa Jha of Agra Zone has been sent to Meerut. Aligarh’s DIG Deepak Kumar has been sent to Agra range.
