In a major reshuffle in the police department of Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi Adityanath-led state government transferred and posted 8 IPS officers on Monday.
2000 batch IPS officer Nilabja Chaudhary, who is Joint CP (Crime) Lucknow, has been sent in the same capacity to Kanpur. While 2006 batch Akash Kulhari, who was ACP (Additional Commissioner of Police) in Prayagraj, has been sent to Lucknow and posted as Joint Commissioner of Police in Lucknow Commissionerate, in place of Chaudhary.
Ravi Shankar Chavi, a 2007-batch IPS officer, has been transferred from Noida Commissionerate and made DIG Public Grieviances, DGP HQ, Lucknow.
2017 batch IPS officer Shraddha Narendra Pandey has been made the DCP of Prayagraj. She was earlier in West Bengal cadre, but got transfer from there on grounds of her marriage.
2008 batch IPS officer Amit Verma has been appointed as ACP in Kanpur City Police Commissionerate.
2009 batch IPS officer Babloo Kumar has been posted as ACP to Noida. He was working as DIG Anti-Corruption Organization, while his batchmate Pawan Kumar has been sent as JCP to Prayagraj. He was holding the post of SP Anti-Narcotics Task Force HQ, Lucknow.
2013 batch IPS officer Suniti has been transferred from the post of SP Admin, DGP HQ, Lucknow to Noida as JCP.
