The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the empanelment of nine officers for promotion to the grade of Principal Chief Commissioner/Principal Director General of Customs and Indirect Taxes in the Indian Revenue Service (Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs), for the panel year 2022.
Their names are;

- Hemambika R Priya
- Shyam Raj Prasad
- B V Sivanaga Kumari
- Ajay Ganesh Ubale
- Pramod Kumar
An extended panel has also been named which will be operated in lieu of officers included in the main panel and extended panel who have retired/are retiring during the year 2022.
Their names are;
- Suakzathang Nunthuk
- Surjit Bhujabal
- Seema Arora
