In a significant administrative reshuffle, Indian Railways has transferred and appointed 13 senior officers as Divisional Railway Managers (DRMs) across various zones. The notification, issued on March 29, 2025, includes several officers holding the Non-Functional Higher Administrative Grade (NFHAG), who have been assigned new roles.

The NFHAG is a senior non-functional grade granted to Group ‘A’ officers when promotions to the Higher Administrative Grade (HAG) are limited due to cadre restrictions. This mechanism ensures time-bound financial upgradation, maintaining pay parity among officers of the same batch across different departments.

As part of the reshuffle, key appointments include Mr. Raju P. Bhadke (IRSE) as DRM of Vadodara, Western Railway, Mr. Panna Lal (IRSE) as DRM of Salem, Southern Railway, and Mr. Rajneesh Aggarwal (IRTS) as DRM of Prayagraj, North Central Railway. Additionally, Mr. Uday Singh Mina (IRSME) has been posted as DRM of Deen Dayal Upadhyay, East Central Railway, while Mr. Pradeep Lakshmanrao Kamle (IRSME) has been appointed as DRM of Nanded, South Central Railway.

Other significant postings include Mr. Akhilesh Misra (IRSME) as DRM of Dhanbad, East Central Railway, and Mr. Subhash C. Chaudhary (IRSEE) as DRM of Sambalpur, East Coast Railway. Mr. Md. Manzar Hussain (IRSEE) has been assigned as DRM of Tinsukia, Northeast Frontier Railway, and Mr. Sunil Kumar Verma (IRSSE) has taken charge as DRM of Lucknow, Northern Railway.

In the South Western and Eastern Railways, Mr. Mudit Mittal (IRAS) has been posted as DRM of Mysuru, while Mr. Rajeev Saxena (IRSS) has been appointed as DRM of Sealdah. Meanwhile, Mr. Anurag Tripathi (IRPS) has been transferred as DRM of Jodhpur, and Ms. Sudeshna Sen (IRAS) has been posted as DRM of Guntur, South Central Railway.

Notably, the posting of Ms. Lily Pandeya (IRPS) as DRM of Guntur has been cancelled. This reshuffle comes as part of Indian Railways’ ongoing efforts to optimize leadership across key divisions and ensure efficient management of railway operations nationwide.
