The NFHAG is a senior non-functional grade granted to Group ‘A’ officers when promotions to the Higher Administrative Grade (HAG) are limited due to cadre restrictions. This mechanism ensures time-bound financial upgradation, maintaining pay parity among officers of the same batch across different departments.

Bhadke (IRSE) as DRM of Vadodara, Western Railway, Mr. Panna Lal (IRSE) as DRM of Salem, Southern Railway, and Mr. Rajneesh Aggarwal (IRTS) as DRM of Prayagraj, North Central Railway.
