The President on Friday approved the promotion of 13 Odisha Administrative Officers (OAS) to Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer rank against the available vacancies determined by the Government of India.
According to a notification issued by the State General Administration and Public Grievance department, The promoted officers will remain on probation until further orders.
The Government will allocate them to the Odisha Cadre, under Rule 5( 1 ) of the lndian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, the notification read.
