The Odisha government has implemented a significant reshuffle in the Indian Forest Service (IFS) cadre, transferring 15 officers across various key positions. The Forest, Environment, and Climate Change Department issued a notification regarding the changes.

As per the order:
- Mr. Prem Kumar Jha (1993-batch IFS officer) has been appointed as Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (Wildlife) and Chief Wildlife Warden (CWLW) of Odisha, with an additional charge as Managing Director (MD) of Odisha Forest Development Corporation (OFDC) Ltd. He was previously serving as Director, Environment-cum-Special Secretary to the department.
- Ms. Uma Nanduri (1993-batch IFS officer) has been appointed as PCCF, Kendu Leaf (KL). She recently returned to the Odisha cadre after completing central deputation.
- Mr. K. Murugesan (1994-batch IFS officer) has been posted as Additional PCCF, FD-cum-Nodal Officer, FC Act. He was previously serving as Member Secretary, SPCB, Odisha.
- Mr. Manoj V. Nair (2001-batch IFS officer) has been appointed as Director of Nandankanan Biological Park with an additional charge as CEO, CAMPA.
- Mr. G. Rajesh (2001-batch IFS officer), former Director of Mines in Odisha, has been posted as Director, Environment-cum-Special Secretary to the department.
- Mr. M. Yogajayananda (2005-batch IFS officer) has been appointed as RCCF, Bhubaneswar Circle, with an additional charge as Chief Executive of the Chilika Development Authority (CDA).
Further transfers and postings of other IFS officers are expected to be notified in due course.
