In a minor reshuffle within the Odisha IAS cadre, the state government has made key transfers of two officers.
K. Sudarshan Chakravarthy, a 2011-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the new Managing Director of the Odisha State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited. According to a notification issued by the General Administration Department, Chakravarthy previously served as the Director of Minor Minerals in the state. His appointment comes after the transfer of the outgoing Managing Director, Shubham Saxena.
Saxena, a 2013-batch IAS officer, has been reassigned to the role of Director of Agriculture and Food Production in Odisha.
Additionally, Samarth Verma, another 2011-batch officer, currently serving as the Director of Technical Education and Training, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Director of Minor Minerals, following the transfer of Chakravarthy.
This reshuffle is part of ongoing efforts to streamline administrative functions and strengthen governance within the state.
