The Punjab government has issued fresh postings for three senior IAS officers, including Mr Kamal Kishor Yadav, a 2003-batch IAS officer, who has been appointed as the Administrative Secretary of the Industries and Commerce and Investment Promotion Department. His new assignment comes after over a month without a posting.

Alongside him, Mr. DK Tiwari, a 1994-batch IAS officer, has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary of Transport while also being given charge of the Parliamentary Affairs Department. Meanwhile, Mr. Varun Roojam, a 2004-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the Administrative Secretary of the Transport Department.
However, three other senior IAS officers—Mr. Gurkirat Kirpal Singh (1995-batch), Mr. Puneet Goyal (1991-batch), and Mr. Jitender Jorwal (2014-batch)—have not been assigned any new postings in this reshuffle.
