Ranchi: In a significant move, 38 officers of the State Police Service have been promoted to the rank of Senior Deputy Superintendent of Police (Senior DSP). The promotions come as a result of the recommendations made by the Departmental Promotion Committee.
Following the promotion, the Home, Jail, and Disaster Management Department issued an official notification outlining the changes. According to the notification, the newly promoted officers will continue to serve at their current posts. However, their rank has now been upgraded to Senior DSP.
The list of officers who have been elevated to the Senior DSP rank includes:
