38 Senior Officers Including 25 IAS Officers Transferred in Uttarakhand; Chief Secy Anand Bardhan Gets News Role

In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Uttarakhand government led by Chief Minister Mr. Pushkar Singh Dhami transferred 25 IAS and 13 PCS officers late on Saturday night. The move aims to bring about greater efficiency in governance ahead of crucial policy implementations.

In the biggest appointment of the reshuffle, Chief Secretary Mr. Anand Bardhan has been given additional responsibility as Chief Resident Commissioner, New Delhi, Chief Investment Commissioner, New Delhi, Chairman- UPCL/PITKUL/Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam. Mr. Chandresh Kumar has been given charge as Secretary of the Panchayati Raj Department, with additional responsibilities for Women Empowerment and Child Development, Commissioner, and Revenue Council Secretary.

In key district-level changes, IAS officer Mr. Karmendra Singh has been appointed as the new District Magistrate of Haridwar and also as the Meladhikari for Kumbh Mela Haridwar. Mr. Mayur Dixit will now serve as the District Magistrate of Tehri Garhwal.

Ms. Ravneet Cheema has been made Additional Secretary for Labour, Animal Husbandry, and Fisheries. Ms. Varuna Agarwal has been posted as Joint Magistrate of Nainital, and Ms. Anamika as Joint Magistrate of Mussoorie.

The Official Order:

Among the PCS officers, Mr. Banshi Lal Rana has been entrusted with the significant role of Divisional Food Controller for the Garhwal Range, Dehradun. Mr. Ramdutt Paliwal has been appointed Director of Mandi Parishad, Rudrapur. Mr. Ashok Kumar Pandey is now the Chief Development Officer (CDO) of Nainital, while Dr. Abhishek Tripathi takes over as CDO of Tehri Garhwal.

Ms. Vipra Trivedi has been named General Manager of the Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam, Dehradun. Mr. Arvind Kumar Pandey will serve as Additional District Magistrate in Tehri Garhwal, and Mr. Dinesh Pratap Singh has been appointed Executive Director of Sugar Mills in Doiwala.

In other postings, Mr. Pratyush Singh has taken charge as City Magistrate of Dehradun and Mr. Surendra Singh Rawat has been appointed as Secretary of the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission in Dehradun.

This large-scale reshuffle is expected to strengthen the administrative framework in the state and improve service delivery across key departments.
