Patna: In a key administrative reshuffle, the Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government has transferred four senior IAS officers, while two have been given additional responsibilities, according to a notification issued by the General Administration Department.
As per the new orders:
- 1992 batch IAS officer Harjot Kaur, currently Additional Chief Secretary of the Social Welfare Department, has been transferred as Additional Chief Secretary, Forest, Environment and Climate Change Department, until further orders.
- 1993 batch IAS officer Mihir Kumar Singh will continue to hold the additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Industries Department.
- 1997 batch IAS officer Safina A N has been appointed as the Divisional Commissioner of Magadh Division.
- 2000 batch IAS officer Prem Singh Meena, who was serving as Magadh Divisional Commissioner, has now been made Additional Member, Revenue Board.
- 2003 batch IAS officer Bandana Preyasi has been posted as the Secretary of the Social Welfare Department.
- 2004 batch IAS officer Kundan Kumar will continue to hold additional charge of the IDA (Infrastructure Development Authority).
These transfers are effective till further orders, as part of routine administrative restructuring.
