4 IAS Transferred in Maharashtra, Mantada Raja Dayanidhi Made the Joint MD of CIDCO

Anmol Sagar, who previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Latur Zilla Parishad, has been transferred to take over as the Commissioner of the Bhiwandi Nizampur Municipal Corporation.

In yet another administrative reshuffle, the Devendra Fadnavis led Maharashtra government announced a series of bureaucratic reshuffles on Tuesday, transferring several high-ranking officials to new positions across different government departments.

Among the notable changes, 2012 batch IAS officer Kunal Khemnar, the current Sugar Commissioner, has been appointed as the Joint Chief Executive Officer of the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC). Meanwhile, 2014 batch IAS officer Mantada Raja Dayanidhi, the Sangli District Collector, has been posted as the Joint Managing Director of the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO).

The government has also appointed Ashok Kakde, the Managing Director of the Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Research Training and Human Development Institute (SARATHI), as the new Sangli District Collector.

Additionally, Anmol Sagar, who previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Latur Zilla Parishad, has been transferred to take over as the Commissioner of the Bhiwandi Nizampur Municipal Corporation.

These recent transfers are part of a broader reshuffle within the Maharashtra state bureaucracy, which includes the transfer of 13 IAS officers on February 4. Among those transferred in earlier changes were:

  • Pravin Darade, an IAS officer from the 1998 batch, has been appointed as the Principal Secretary for the Co-operation, Marketing and Textile Department.
  • Pankaj Kumar, an IAS officer from the 2002 batch, has been posted as the Secretary and Special Enquiry Officer for the General Administration Department.
  • Nitin Patil (2007 batch) has been named the Commissioner of Skill Development, Employment, and Entrepreneurship.
  • Shweta Singhal (2009 batch) has been appointed as the Divisional Commissioner of Amravati Division, while Dr. Prashant Narnaware (2009 batch) moves to the post of Secretary to the Governor.

Other notable transfers include:

  • Anil Bhandari (2010 batch) appointed as Director, Information Technology.
  • PK Dange (2011 batch) moved to serve as Secretary, State Human Rights Commission.
  • S Ramamoorthy (2013 batch) now serves as Deputy Secretary to the Governor.
  • Abhijit Raut (2013 batch) has been appointed as Joint Commissioner, State Tax in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar.
  • Milindkumar Salwe (2013 batch) will serve as the Commissioner, Minority Development in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar.
  • Rahul Kardile (2015 batch) has been posted as Collector, Nanded.

Additionally, Madhavi Sardeshmukh (2015 batch) has been appointed as the Director, Vocational Education and Training, and Amit Ranjan (2022 batch) has been transferred to the Project Officer, ITDP in Pandharkawada and Assistant Collector, Kelapur Sub Division, Yavatmal.

The reshuffle, which also included a previous set of transfers on January 28, is seen as a part of the government’s ongoing effort to optimize administrative performance and improve governance efficiency across various sectors.
