65 IPS Officers, Including Ajay Kumar Mishra, Empanelled as Inspector Generals at the Centre; 8 from AGMUT Cadre

In a significant development, the Central Government on recommendation from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has empanelled 65 IPS officers for appointment at the Inspector General (IG) level. Among the officers empanelled, 8 belong to the AGMUT (Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territory) cadre.
