Bhopal: In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Madhya Pradesh government led by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has transferred and appointed nine senior IAS officers, affecting several key departments including the Chief Minister’s Office, Narmada Valley Development, Urban Administration, Energy, and General Administration.
The General Administration Department issued the transfer orders on Sunday, July 6, instructing the officers to assume their new roles with immediate effect.
Key Appointment: Neeraj Mandloi Gets CM’s Office Charge
The most notable change involves Neeraj Mandloi, an IAS officer of 1993 batch from MP cadre, who has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) in the Chief Minister’s Office. In addition to his new role, Mandloi has been given additional charge of the Energy Department and Public Service Management Department. He was earlier serving as ACS, Central Department.
Agriculture and Higher Education: Significant Realignments
Nishant Warwade, 2003 batch UAS officer, has been appointed as Secretary, Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Department. He was previously Commissioner of Higher Education, Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal.
Prabal Sipaha, 2009 batch IAS officer, has now been appointed as the new Commissioner of Higher Education, succeeding Warwade.

Dr Rajesh Kumar Rajoda, an IAS officer of 1990 batch, has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Narmada Valley Development Corporation. Additional roles-

Sanjay Dubey, 1993 batch IAS officer, has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department. Additional charge–
- ACS, Science and Technology Department
Sanjay Kumar Shukla, 1992 batch IAS officer, is now the ACS, General Administration Department.

Other Important Transfers
M Selvendran (IAS: 2002) has been appointed as Secretary, Personnel, General Administration Department. He was previously serving as Secretary, Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development Department.
Rakhi Sahay (IAS: 2015), who was the Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh Finance Corporation, Indore, has been transferred as Secretary, Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC).
This reshuffle marks a major bureaucratic shift aimed at boosting governance efficiency and administrative performance across departments in Madhya Pradesh. With these changes, the government seeks to align leadership with its strategic development priorities and service delivery mechanisms.
