In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Jharkhand government has transferred as many as 96 officers from the Jharkhand Administrative Service (JAS). The Revenue, Registration and Land Reforms Department has issued a formal notification regarding these transfers, which come into immediate effect and will remain in force until further orders.

The mass transfer involves officers from across various districts and departments, reflecting the government’s efforts to strengthen administrative efficiency and bring in new leadership at different levels of governance.
Among the key transfers:
Mr. Sachchidanand Mahato, JAS officer from Bokaro district, who was serving as Deputy Collector, Land Reforms, Bangodar Sariya in Giridih, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Collector, Land Reforms, Dhalbhum, East Singhbhum.
Mr. Jitrai Murmu, JAS officer from Seraikela-Kharsawan, serving as Land Reforms Deputy Collector, Dumri in Giridih, has now been posted as Land Reforms Deputy Collector, Chaibasa in West Singhbhum.
Mr. Girija Nand Kisku, JAS officer from Bokaro district, currently posted as Circle Officer, Pirtand in Giridih, has been transferred to the position of Circle Officer, Bagmara in Dhanbad.
