The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Chief Vigilance Officers (CVOs) in various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). These officers will oversee vigilance functions in their respective organisations for specified tenures.
Yogendra Pratap Singh (IRSSE:2010) has been appointed as CVO of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) for a tenure of three years. Spurthi Reddy (IRS-C&IT:2011) will serve as CVO of Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), Hyderabad, until February 22, 2028, as part of a combined five-year deputation. Shweta Mishra (IRS-IT:2007) has been assigned the role of CVO at the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Delhi, for a period of three years.
Additionally, Naveen Kumar (ITS:1994) has been appointed as CVO of Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (PGCIL), Delhi/NCR, while Rajnesh Singh (IRSME:2003) has been designated as CVO of Gas Authority of India Ltd. (GAIL) until March 21, 2028, as part of his combined seven-year tenure in CSS and non-CSS posts.
