While the number of COVID-19 cases is rising rapidly, the Government of Madhya Pradesh has appointed Akash Tripathi as Commissioner, Health. According to the release of General Administration Department (GAD), the IAS officer of 1998-Batch Mr. Tripathi has also been named as Secretary, Department of Public Health and Family Welfare, Madhya Pradesh.
The order came after the state government transferred Sanjay Goyal, the incumbent Commissioner, Health. Goyal has been assigned the charge of Secretary in Mantralaya.
