New Delhi: The government has approved the premature repatriation of Amit Kumar (IOFS: 2012), currently serving as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, back to his parent cadre. This move has been made on personal grounds and takes effect immediately.
Sanjay Mathur’s Tenure as Joint Director, NCRB Extended by One Year
In a significant extension move, the tenure of Sanjay Mathur (IPS: 1994, Tamil Nadu cadre), who is currently the Joint Director of the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), has been extended by one year beyond August 15, 2025, thereby totaling nine years in the position.
This extension has been granted in relaxation of the IPS Tenure Policy, underscoring the government’s recognition of Mr. Mathur’s continued contributions to NCRB’s mission in crime data management and analytics.
