Andhra Pradesh : Chief Secretary’s service extended by three months

Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Secretary Aditya Nath Das tenure has been officially extended by three more months.The Union government has accepted the request of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for extending the tenure of Mr. Das on 26the June. Kuldeep Chaudhary, Under Secretary, Department of Personnel and Training gave the information.

A 1987 batch officer Aditya Nath Das was supposed to superannuate on June 30 but now he will serve until September 30. Mr. Das was appointed as the Chief Secretary earlier in  December 2020, replacing Nilam Sawhney, who was then appointed as Principal Advisor to the Chief Minister (in the rank of a Cabinet Minister) upon her retirement.
