A total of 143 candidates cleared the IFS 2024 examination. Among them, Ms Anjali stood out with her stellar performance. Upon hearing the news, District Collector Mr. Girish Kumar Mishra and Superintendent of Police Mr. Aditya Mishra personally congratulated her and extended their best wishes for her future.
Recalling the moment when the results were released, Ms. Anjali said, “I was scrolling through the result pages looking for my name further down, but to my surprise, my name was right there at the top. That moment brought a wave of joy in our family.”
Sharing her journey, she revealed that her aspiration to clear the UPSC exam began when she was in Class 12. Achieving success in her fourth attempt, she credited her perseverance and passion for nature for helping her attain this milestone. “I feel fortunate to have been given the opportunity to serve in the forest. I have always felt connected to nature, and now I have the privilege of protecting it,” she said.
Rajgarh, listed among the backward districts by NITI Aayog, is known for social challenges like child marriage and natra quarrels. Ms. Anjali’s success, therefore, marks a significant and inspiring breakthrough for the region.
Her maternal uncle Mr Bablu Patel shared an emotional note: “Anjali’s father, Mr. Suresh, was a farmer and passed away two years ago after a prolonged illness. He had always dreamt of seeing his daughter become a high-ranking officer. Even after his death, Anjali remained determined and fulfilled his dream. We are immensely proud of her.”
Ms Anjali’s journey stands as a beacon of hope and determination, inspiring many across rural India to aim high despite adversities.
