The changes take immediate effect, as per an official notification.
Among those affected are four IAS and five IPS officers currently serving in Arunachal Pradesh, who have been reassigned to Delhi.
Notably, 2012-batch IAS officer Krishna Kumar Singh, who served as the Secretary of the Health and Family Welfare Department in Arunachal Pradesh, has been transferred to Delhi.
Lower Dibang Valley Deputy Commissioner Soumya Saurav (2014 batch), Capital DC Talo Potom, and Lohit DC Shashwat Saurabh (both from the 2016 batch) have also been posted to the national capital.
Conversely, three IAS officers currently serving in Goa – Sneha Suryakang Gitte and Asvin Chandru A (both 2019 batch), and Yashaswini B (2020 batch) – have been reassigned to Arunachal Pradesh.
The reshuffle also impacts senior IPS officials.
2013-batch officer Sharad Bhaskar Darade, who held the post of Secretary to the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, has been moved to Delhi along with 2014-batch officer Mahesh Kumar Barnwal.
Capital SP Rohit Rajbir Singh, SIC SP Anant Mittal (both 2015 batch), and West Siang SP Abhimanyu Poswal (2018 batch) are also among those transferred to Delhi.
In return, Arunachal Pradesh will now see the posting of IPS officers Devesh Kumar Mahla (2012 batch), Surendra Choudhury (2013), and Anurag Dwivedi (2020), all previously serving in Delhi.
