Itanagar: In a routine administrative exercise, the Arunachal Pradesh government has reassigned the charges of several senior officials, according to an official order issued on January 16. The reshuffle involves four IAS officers, one Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer, and officers from the Arunachal Pradesh Civil Services (APCS).
The order, issued by Chief Secretary Manish Kumar Gupta, takes effect immediately and aims to ensure smooth functioning across departments.
Key IAS and IFS Transfers
Saugat Biswas, an IAS officer of the 2006 batch from AGMUT cadre and Transport Commissioner, has been given the additional charge of Commissioner (Law).
2014 batch IAS officer Rajesh Kumar, Secretary (Administrative Reforms and Training), has been assigned the additional responsibility of Secretary (Personnel and Vigilance).
2012 batch IAS officer YVVJ Rajasekhar, Secretary of the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB), has been entrusted with the additional charge of Secretary (Animal Husbandry, Veterinary and Dairy Development), relieving H Tari.
Koj Rinya, IFS officer and current Secretary (Horticulture), has been assigned the additional charge as Member of APSSB, relieving N Ete.

APCS Officer Changes
Among Arunachal Pradesh Civil Service officers:
Hage Lailyang, Joint Secretary (Hydropower Development), now holds the additional charge of Joint Secretary (Personnel).
Mika Nyori, Joint Secretary (Public Works Department), has been assigned the additional charge of Joint Secretary (Home).
Purpose of the Reshuffle
The Arunachal Pradesh government stated that the reallocation of charges is part of routine administrative arrangements aimed at improving coordination and ensuring efficient functioning of all departments. No further changes to the cadre are expected at this time.
