A Forest official at Kaziranga National Park Mr. Traun Gogoi was allegedly picked at the midnight by the SP, Golaghat district, Assam Mr. Rajen Sinha. The incident has caused stir in the state. The CM and DGP of state has promised for strict action in the matter.

As per few reports, SP’s family came to visit the national park on Thursday last week and wanted to go for the elephant safari. Mr. Gogoi was asked to get the tickets but he was unable to arrange it due to the rush for the safari.
Considering as an insult, the SP allegedly picked him from his house in the night and kept him in Kohora police station till 4 am in the morning. Mr. Gogoi has alleged that he was mentally harassed and the SP abused him. He was brought back home after many forest officer and SDPO rushed to the station got him free.
