Bank of Baroda Inaugurates Baroda Academy in Ludhiana to Boost Employee Skills and Leadership

New Training Center to Offer Programs in Banking Operations, Digital Banking, Customer Service, and Regulatory Compliance

Ludhiana: In a significant step toward enhancing employee skills and leadership capabilities, Bank of Baroda (BoB) inaugurated its Baroda Academy in Ludhiana on January 17, 2026. The initiative aims to serve as a dedicated hub for capacity building, skill enhancement, and leadership development for the Bank’s workforce across the Ludhiana Zone.

Inauguration Ceremony and Key Officials

The Baroda Academy was inaugurated by Mr. Lalit Tyagi, Executive Director, Bank of Baroda, in the presence of several senior officials, including Mr. Hardeep Singh, General Manager and Zonal Head, Ludhiana Zone; Mr. Sunil Sinha, General Manager – Chief Learning Officer & Recruitment; Mr. Govind Prasad Verma and Mr. Raman Kumar, Deputy General Managers, Ludhiana Zone; Mr. Jitendra Kumar, Regional Head, Jalandhar; and Mr. Santosh Kumar, Regional Head, Amritsar, along with other senior leaders of the Bank.

Focus on Skill Development and Capacity Building

The Academy will provide employees with structured training programs in banking operations, digital banking, customer service, and regulatory compliance. The facility will also emphasize leadership development, ensuring that employees at various levels acquire the skills necessary to manage teams effectively and deliver high-quality customer experiences.
