New Delhi: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking (DPSU), has announced the receipt of new orders totaling ₹712 crore since its last disclosure on September 1, 2025. The latest order inflow spans a wide spectrum of advanced technologies and services, further bolstering the company’s growing order book.

According to BEL, the fresh contracts include:

  • IT infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions
  • Electronic Support Measure (ESM) systems
  • Blockchain solution platforms
  • Communication equipment
  • Spares and related services

This diversified portfolio of contracts highlights BEL’s continued expansion into emerging technology domains while maintaining its stronghold in traditional defence electronics.

Focus on Emerging Tech and Strategic Growth

BEL, known for its role as a critical supplier of defence-grade electronics to the Indian armed forces, is strategically expanding its footprint beyond conventional defence projects. The company has been actively investing in cutting-edge technologies such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), and blockchain, in line with India’s broader push for digital and technological self-reliance.

“BEL is committed to supporting India’s defence and digital transformation through innovation and indigenous development,” a senior company official said.

The company’s consistent order wins signal strong demand for its evolving product and service offerings, positioning it as a key enabler in the country’s Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India) mission.

Strengthening the Order Book

With this ₹712 crore addition, BEL continues to reinforce its order pipeline across defence and non-defence sectors, contributing to sustained business momentum. Recent orders have also supported BEL’s push to tap into cyber-secure IT infrastructure solutions, a high-priority area amid growing digital threats and rising national security requirements.

Industry observers note that BEL’s growing presence in dual-use technologies — which have applications in both civilian and defence sectors — is a significant move toward long-term sustainability and global competitiveness.
