Agra: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a leading defence PSU, has strengthened its community outreach by modernising the Golden Fish Army Primary School at COD Agra under its CSR initiative. The project reflects BEL’s commitment to supporting education by creating an engaging and inclusive environment for young learners.
Upgraded Facilities for Better Learning
As part of the initiative, BEL provided new classroom furniture, a dedicated play area with equipment, and an interactive panel for the audio-visual room. These facilities are designed to improve the overall learning experience, enabling students to benefit from both traditional and digital teaching methods.

Handover Ceremony at COD Agra
The upgraded facilities were formally handed over in the presence of senior officials and dignitaries. Attendees included Mr Rajnish Sharma, Director (BG Cx), Brig Rishi Raj Yadav, Commandant, COD Agra, Mr T.N. Singh, GM (HR)/BG Cx, Mrs Hemalata, GM (Military Radar), and Mrs Ritu Singh Manhas, Principal of the school. The event highlighted BEL’s role in fostering partnerships between defence establishments and local communities for social development.
