Athens/New Delhi: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) is leading India’s participation at DEFEA – Defence Exhibition Athens 2025, with H.E. Rudrendra Tandon, Ambassador of India to Greece, inaugurating the India Pavilion on May 6.
The prestigious three-day international defence and security exhibition, organized under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of National Defence with support from SEKPY and ROTA Exhibitions, features 436 exhibitors from 37 countries, including 18 national pavilions and official delegations from 45 nations.
The India Pavilion, led by BEL, also includes key contributions from Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd. (MDL), Goa Shipyard Ltd. (GSL), and the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor (UPDIC). BEL is showcasing an impressive portfolio of cutting-edge defence technologies spanning multiple domains.
Among the highlights are BEL’s indigenous innovations such as AESA Seekers, Universal Fuzes, Electronic Artillery Fuzes, Long Range Glide Bombs, Precision Guided Bombs, Loitering Systems, and Long Range Land Attack Cruise Missiles. These state-of-the-art systems underline BEL’s pivotal role in advancing India’s self-reliance in defence manufacturing and technological innovation.

Mr Manoj Kumar Singh, Chief Secretary & Infrastructure & Industrial Development Commissioner & CEO, UPEIDA, UP Government, Mr Suresh Kumar KV, Director (Marketing), BEL, and Cdr Vasudev Puranik, Director (Corporate Planning & Personel)/MDL, were present at the inauguration.
