Bharat Electronics Wins ₹1,081 Crore Defence Orders in Radar, Communication & Avionics Systems

Bengaluru: Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has announced that it has secured additional orders worth ₹1,081 crore since its last disclosure dated 25 May 2026. The update was shared with the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE Limited in compliance with SEBI listing regulations.

The new contracts further strengthen BEL’s order book across key defence electronics segments.

Wide Range of Defence Systems Covered in New Orders

According to BEL’s official release, the fresh orders include a diversified portfolio of advanced defence technologies, such as:

  • Radar systems
  • Communication equipment
  • Avionics systems
  • CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear) protection systems
  • Seeker technologies
  • System upgrades
  • Spare parts and support services

These orders highlight BEL’s expanding role in delivering critical electronic systems for India’s armed forces.

Strengthening India’s Defence Manufacturing Ecosystem

BEL stated that the new contracts reflect continued demand for its indigenous defence electronics solutions. The company continues to play a key role in supporting India’s defence capabilities under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.

Its systems are widely used in surveillance, communication, and electronic warfare support, contributing to the modernization of India’s defence infrastructure.

The ₹1,081 crore order inflow comes after BEL’s earlier disclosure on May 25, 2026, indicating steady business momentum.

The company continues to expand its presence across multiple defence technology verticals, reinforcing its position as a leading defence electronics manufacturer in India.
