New Delhi: BEML Limited has appointed Shobha Sivasankaran as its Chief General Manager (Finance), strengthening the company’s senior leadership team and financial governance framework.
The appointment, effective May 14, 2026, comes as BEML continues to expand its operations across defence, aerospace, mining, construction, and rail & metro segments.
29 Years of Rich Experience in Public Sector Finance
Shobha Sivasankaran brings nearly three decades of experience in financial and commercial management, primarily from Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL).
During her tenure at SAIL, she handled key responsibilities in areas such as:
- Financial planning and budgeting
- Cost and treasury management
- Compliance and governance
- Project financing and investment evaluation
She also served in senior finance roles at major industrial units, including Visvesvaraya Iron and Steel Plant (VISL) and Chandrapur Ferro Alloy Plant (CFP).
Key Role in Strengthening BEML’s Financial Strategy
At BEML, she will be responsible for driving financial strategy, improving governance systems, and supporting long-term business growth.
