Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Friday announced that the model rate for soybeans under the Bhavantar Yojana has been fixed at over ₹4,000 per quintal, reaffirming the state government’s commitment to farmer welfare and fair crop pricing.
Speaking at the Kushabhau Thakre Auditorium, Dr. Yadav said that to ensure farmers receive the full Minimum Support Price (MSP) benefit, the government will provide an additional ₹1,300 per quintal to soybean-producing farmers. The payment will be distributed on November 13.
“The government is dedicated to ensuring that every farmer in Madhya Pradesh receives fair value for their produce,” the Chief Minister said, adding that the move reflects the government’s farmer-first approach.
He further said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Madhya Pradesh is moving ahead “on the path of a strong India and a strong Madhya Pradesh” through various welfare and development programs.
