BHEL Strengthens Top Management With Promotion of 16 Senior Officials to Executive Director Level

The PSU strengthens its top management with experienced leaders as promotions take effect from December 10, 2025.

New Delhi: In a significant boost to its management strength, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has elevated 16 senior officials to the prestigious position of Executive Director (ED). The promotions, effective December 10, 2025, were disclosed in a regulatory filing made to the stock exchanges in line with SEBI’s listing norms.

The newly promoted officials represent some of the most experienced professionals within the organisation, many of whom have been associated with BHEL for over three decades. The official communication announcing the appointments was released by Sayed Salahuddin, Manager – Corporate Communication, BHEL.

A Leadership Team Built on Experience

The list of officials stepping into their new roles showcases a mix of seniority, technical proficiency, and long-term organisational commitment. Their years of service reflect deep institutional knowledge—an asset BHEL aims to leverage as it strengthens its leadership framework.

 K G Vijayalakshmi (37 years), Arvind Kumar Gupta (34 years), H Malathi (33 years), Shyamala Venkataraman (37 years), Ranjan Kumar (35 years), Pradeep Kumar Upadhyay (33 years), Nishit Babyloni (33 years), Sunil Diwakar (35 years), Gaurav Garg (35 years), Sanjay Guha (14 years), Uday Shankar (35 years), Ajay Kumar (35 years), Yatindra Mohan (34 years), V V Subrahmanyam (35 years), N Ramesh Kumar (35 years), and Rizwan Faisal Siddiqui (36 years).

Strengthening the Road Ahead

According to industry experts, BHEL’s decision to promote such a large cohort of senior officials reflects a broader organisational strategy—one aimed at reinforcing leadership continuity and ensuring robust oversight across key verticals. The move comes at a time when BHEL continues to manage major national projects in energy, infrastructure, and engineering.

The company expects the newly appointed Executive Directors to bring in enhanced operational efficiency, greater agility in project execution, and strengthened decision-making processes.
