Fifty four officers from Bihar Administrative Services have been promoted to IAS. An order in this regard was issued by the General Administration Department on 12 December. All the officers were waiting for promotion for a long time.
The list includes Mr. Sushil Kumar, who is currently serving as Director cum Additional Secretary, Land acquisition, Department of Revenue & Land Reforms. Besides him, Kishore Chaudhary, Vinay Kumar Rai, and Naresh Jha have also been promoted.
