Patna: The Government of Bihar has initiated the development of industrial areas across 20 districts, including a 700-acre industrial zone in Paroo, Muzaffarpur. The move aims to attract new industries, promote economic growth, and generate employment opportunities in the state.
Focus on Land Acquisition, Social Impact Assessment, and Rehabilitation
The state government has emphasized a careful approach toward land acquisition, social impact assessment, and rehabilitation. The Revenue and Land Reforms Department has instructed district authorities to conduct regular reviews in collaboration with relevant institutions to ensure timely progress.
Officials have been directed to maintain constant communication with companies already operating in these industrial districts. This will help existing businesses stay updated on developments and provide them an opportunity to invest in new industrial projects if interested.
