Patna: In a significant administrative move, the General Administration Department of Bihar has issued a transfer order for Munger District Magistrate Arvind Kumar Verma. The notification, released on Wednesday, directs Verma to report in Patna and await a new posting. His successor has already been named.

New Munger DM Appointed: 2018 Batch IAS Nikhil Dhanraj Nippanikar

The state government has appointed IAS officer Nikhil Dhanraj Nippanikar as the new District Magistrate of Munger. A 2018 batch IAS officer, Nippanikar was previously serving as the Director of the Handloom and Ration Directorate under the Industry Department in Bihar.

His appointment comes amid ongoing administrative reshuffles across the state, intended to enhance governance efficiency in key districts.
