The department has also completed scanning and digitising documents registered between 1996 and 2005.
During this period, a total of 68.51 lakh documents were scanned and converted into PDF files. Of these, approximately 66 lakh PDFs have been uploaded to the website.
According to the department, members of the public can view and download these documents and access their certified copies through the available process.

Documents registered from 2006 onwards are already available on the portal through the computerised registration system.
For new registrations, the department sends a link to the registered mobile number of the parties involved, enabling them to download the document directly.
The department says these measures are intended to make registration-related services more accessible through digital platforms and improve the availability of property records.
