Bihar: Two IPS Officers, Including Sweety Sehrawat, Shifted

In a minor reshuffle, the Bihar government has issued transfer order, shifting two IPS officers. The order was signed by Girish Mohan Thakur (Additional Chief Secretary to government) on 13 September. According to the order, IPS officer Ms. Sweety Sehrawat has been transferred and posted as SDPO, Sadar, Patna. She is an IPS officer of 2020 batch and Bihar cadre and was currently serving as SDPO, Aurangabad. Recently, she made headlines after her video with former governor Nikhil Kumar went viral. In the video, Mr. Kumar could be seen asking her to register a complaint while she was saying that she will do that in office and not at her residence.

Besides her, Ms. Kamya Mishra of 2019 batch has been transferred and posted as Assistant SP, CID, Patna. She was currently serving as SDPO, Sadar.
