Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has launched the ‘Emerge’ cohort under its BPCL Ankur Fund to support Energy Efficiency and City Gas Distribution (CGD) startups. This initiative aims to foster innovation in sustainable energy solutions, optimize consumption, and enhance operational efficiency in the oil and gas sector.

The ‘Emerge’ cohort will invest in early-stage startups with a Proof of Concept (PoC), prototype, Minimum Viable Product (MVP), or fully implemented solution.
Startups working on AI-driven energy management, predictive maintenance, smart metering, and pipeline monitoring can apply for investments of up to ₹5 crores, with BPCL taking a maximum 20% equity stake.
The application deadline is April 10, 2025. Interested startups can apply at www.startup.bpcl.in.
