Senior IPS officer Braj Kishore Ravi, who is serving as Director General of Police (DGP) Vigilance (Tangedco) in Tamil Nadu has taken voluntary retirement from service. A 1989-batch officer, he is the second seniormost DGP ranked official from TN cadre after Sanjay Arora, who is serving as Commissioner of Delhi police. He has taken VRS when only three months service is left before his superannuation.
He has also served as Director General of Police/Director, Fire and Rescue Services.
