38 Newly Appointed Civil Servants in Meghalaya

Chief Minister Conrad Sangma graced the event with his presence.

The Government of Meghalaya carried out the induction training program of 38 newly appointed officers of the Meghalaya Civil Service (MCS) of the 2021 batch on Thursday.

Congratulating the officers, the Chief Minister said, “I congratulate them for reaching the first step towards serving Meghalaya and its people.”

The induction program was carried out adhering to the COVID-10 protocols laid out by the government. The state stands at 4537 active cases of COVID-19 as of July 1. A total of 44709 patients have recovered from the infection so far. The death toll due to the virus has reached up to 577.
