58 IRS Officers Promoted to Commissioner Rank, 3 Denied Empanellment

The 2006 batch IRS officers have been promoted to the grade of Commissioner of Income Tax (CIT). A total number of 58 IRS officers got promotion.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet cleared the empanellment of for promotion to the grade of CIT in the Indian Revenue Service (Level 14 of the of Pay Matrix) for the panel year 2024.
