The 70th batch of Indian Revenue Service (IRS), consisting 60 officers, successfully passed out, on Wednesday, from the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics (NACIN), Faridabad.
Among 60 officers, there are 15 lady officers. After passing out, these officers will be appointed to administer Goods and Service Tax.
Chairman CBIC Sh. M Ajit Kumar presided over the passing out ceremony of 70th batch of IRS (C&CE) officers at NACIN Faridabad. At the passing out parade ceremony, a message from Minister from Finance and Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman was read out along with the recorded video messages from Minister of State for Finance Anurag Singh Thakur and the Finance Secretary Ajay Bhushan Pandey.
