8 IRS officers, serving on deputation, has been given proforma promotion. These officers are the Deputy Commissioners of Income Tax and currently serving on deputation to ex-cadre posts.
They have been granted proforma promotion to the grade of Joint Commissioner of Income Tax, CBDT.

Sandeep Rana, Director, Sports Authority of India.
Prasad Arvind Chapekar, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
Samruddhi Hande, Director, Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC).
Sushil Kumar Kulhari, Joint Secretary, Planning Department in the Rajasthan government.
Kamal Deep, Deputy Director, Directorate of Enforcement.
Indu Bala, Deputy Director, Directorate of Enforcement.
Sudiksha Rani, Additional Commissioner of State Tax, Ahmedabad in the Gujarat government.
